Orproject

Orproject is a London based architecture and design practice set up in 2006 by Francesco Brenta, Christoph Klemmt and Laura Micalizzi. Their work explores advanced geometries with an ecologic agenda, the integration of natural elements into the design results in an eco-narrative unfolding into the three dimensional space. Located at the entrance of the italian cultural institute as part of thelondon architecture festival. Constructed out of photosensitive polygonal segments,the single surface roof form has the ability to turn opaque pink in the sun or translucent white in the shade. Photovoltaic cells are also integrated into the polygonal segments, transforming the installation into a lighting device at night by releasing the energy collected during the day. http://www.orproject.com/
