Sweden-based design studio cate&nelson were commissioned by swedish furniture manufacturer blå station to design a product on the occasion of the company's 25th anniversary. their brief asked that they base this furniture piece on the language of design that characterized blå station in its early days - including the round birch-wood ring and natural tanned leather from tärnsjö tannery. http://www.blastation.com/
