SWON

SWON is an art and design group that creates sculptural glass and lighting installations that blur the lines between art and design. The group broke the rules of artistic conformity in the early 90's by setting up exterior guerilla art installations outside of the formal arts and gallery system. The artwork grew out of the need to create and use large architectural environments as a canvas for neon lighting installations. SWON has been involved in public and private art installations as well as commercial design projects in North America and Europe for over 12 years and has developed a reputation as one of North Americas most avant-garde glass groups.
